When a firm sets out, it does so because it sees the existing landscape and identifies ways that it can – or rather needs –  to improve, change, and grow. We, at Sapphire, are no different. When we looked out at today’s commercial real estate arena, what we found was a lack of systematic, high quality underwriting and management across many areas of alternative assets. Carelessness in these areas consistently led to sponsors not realizing their investments’ fullest potential, and ultimately walking away with returns that fell far short of their mark.

While there are those that believe you can be successful in one area while negligent in another, we at Sapphire believe every aspect is connected. Great investor relations leads to better hands-on management, which leads to well-performing assets, which leads to higher returns. No part of the chain can be left wanting.
